Question 1: How do I know if my card is an R4SDHC card and that it will work with Wood and YSMenu?

Question 1 Answer: There are a few ways of validating your card:

1. Check the image on the index page and make sure yours is identical.

2. Download the firmware for R4SDHC on the index page and check if it loads up.

Question 2: Some new games won't work on wood?

Question 2 Answer: Not all games work with wood so try YSMenu instead that works with most newer games. 

Question 3: Wood wont let me run a game because it says the save file is fragmented, how do I fix that? 

Question 3 Answer: To defragment a .sav file just cut and paste it to your computer and then cut and paste it back onto the micro sd card. Also some people say just run this http://defraggler.en.softonic.com/ on your .sav file.

Question 4: When trying to play any game on Wood it just freezes on 'loading', how can I fix this?

Question 4 Answer: Normally this only happens if your card is not an R4SDHC. If you think yours is, but it gets stuck on loading try YSMenu. 

Question 5: How do I play my music and video's on moonshell when using YSMENU as it loads automatically?

Question 5 Answer: To stop YSMENU automatically loading just rename the default.nds to ysmenu.nds and R4 firmware will load, then to start ysmenu just load ysmenu.nds.

Question 6: When trying to load a game on YSMenu I get '[ROM LOADING FAILED] SAVfile not founded', how do I fix this?

Question 6 Answer: To fix the [rom loading failed] errors just download R4SDHC v1.32 firmware by clicking HERE. Once you have downloaded the firmware, extract it and transfer it to the root of your Micro SD card, then copy YSMenu over and it will run without any problems.

Question 7: The R4III website doesn't exist anymore? How can I download the latest stock firmware.

Question 7 Answer: The R4III website seems to have shut down, but you can still download the latest stock firmware for your language by clicking HERE.
